We are a Northern Ireland based business specializing in the manufacture of 100% biochar. Our story started with the curiosity of our management team to develop a circular economy product. Having been involved in the bioenergy industry for over 15 years we settled on biochar as our industry due to its unique potential to produce both biochar and renewable heat ( produced as part of the production process) combined with its ability for carbon capture.
After considerable research, we installed a Biomacon pyrolysis unit to produce our biochar range as it is capable of producing premium material as we can control the parameters of the process including temperature control and ensure that we can meet target specification for our products. The temperature, retention time, and other important parameters along with our sustainable sourcing of raw materials with traceability ensure our biochar is manufactured to the highest quality, environment and safety standards in line with our regulatory requirements;

I have fed Biochar to my performance mare for the last month and have found a noticeable improvement in her behaviour. I was worried she was beginning to develop stomach ulcers as she had become irritable when being girthed and rugged up around her stomach. After being fed the biochar daily this last month these symptoms have been eliminated and she seems much happier in herself and calmer in her work. She is also a very fussy eater but very happily eats the biochar. I would definitely recommend it if you suspect stomach ulcers in your horse.

We keep a herd of pedigree Irish Moiled cattle started to feed our biochar to our outwintered cattle in 2020 and noticed within a few weeks we observed an improvement in body condition and a change in behaviour with animals becoming more settled when we incorporated “Agrichar” into a daily feeding ration. Since we witnessed these benefits, we have gradually incorporated into our entire herd with calves being introduced at weaning stage where we immediately noticed reduction in stress levels normally associated with weaning and our cows have recovered condition quickly after weaning
