EQUICHAR

EquiChar is a high-quality natural charcoal supplementary feed. Charcoal has been used for centuries to treat everything from poisoning to common digestive disorders. It is a substance that animals in the wild instinctively seek as a soother when they are out of equilibrium and feeling unwell.

Health benefits

EquiChar can be fed continuously as a natural detoxifier of the digestive system supporting the animal’s metabolic function by helping maintain a natural acid-alkaline balance.

Toxins ingested in the Horses diet can have a detrimental effect on performance and temperament as the toxins cause irritation in the animal’s gut. EquiCharhas the ability to bind toxins to its surface and pass them out of the system naturally. Eliminating this irritation can reduce discomfort and stress on the animal and promote healthy digestion.

Performance Horses

Modern competition horses also have to deal with additional stress including travelling, longer boxed periods, intensive competition and training etc. Additionally, the digestive system is required to process a wide variety of food including carbohydrate rich concentrated feed. Horse owners and trainers report that feeding EquiChar and maintaining a healthy digestive system is key to consistency and performance.

TYPICALLY, OWNERS AND TRAINERS REPORT THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENTS: –

·         Improved coat and body condition

·         More relaxed in stables

·         Improved behavior and rideability

·         Reduced gastric discomfort

·         Less tender when girth is applied

·         Reduction in digestion related issues

·         Less ammonia in stalls and stables

·         Easier maintained beds

·         Improved manure consistency (firmer droppings)

EquiChar charcoal is an inert substance, has no medical properties, is not ingested or passed into the blood. As a supplementary feed it is BHA and FEI compliant.

TESTIMONIALS

I have fed Biochar to my performance mare for the last month and have found a noticeable improvement in her behaviour.  I was worried she was beginning to develop stomach ulcers as she had become irritable when being girthed and rugged up around her stomach.  After being fed the biochar daily this last month these symptoms have been eliminated and she seems much happier in herself and calmer in her work.  She is also a very fussy eater but very happily eats the biochar.  I would definitely recommend it if you suspect stomach ulcers in your horse.

We keep a herd of pedigree Irish Moiled cattle started to feed our biochar to our outwintered cattle in 2020 and noticed within a few weeks we observed an improvement in body condition and a change in behaviour with animals becoming more settled when we incorporated “Agrichar” into a daily feeding ration. Since we witnessed these benefits, we have gradually incorporated into our entire herd with calves being introduced at weaning stage where we immediately noticed reduction in stress levels normally associated with weaning and our cows have recovered condition quickly after weaning
